dc.description.abstractNew conclusions of the thesis: - The dissertation is appropriate to the content and code of the specialty and is not duplicated in content with the previously defended ones. The thesis provides various scientific results that are valuable in clinical practice. - The present study is the first research on precancerous lesions and new immunohistochemistry markers used to diagnose dysplastic nodules and hepatocellular carcinoma in Vietnam (Glutamin Synthetase, Heat Sock Protein 70, Glipican-3). The study summarized and provided recommendations in using immunohistochemistry markers with different panels in the diagnosis of HCC. Researching on morphological characteristics of lesions and role of new immunohistochemistry markers (Beta-catenin, Glutamin Synthetase, L-FPBP, SAA ...) in diagnosis of hepatocellular adenoma, classifying HCC into subtypes support clinicians make a prognosis, give treatment and follow-up. Reliable research methods, research results have contributed greatly to the practice of diagnosis of premalignant lesions and HCC.
